SmugMoo: Photography Business Cards For Photography Fanatics

When was the last time you updated your photography business cards? If you asked me that question, I’d say it’s been 2 years.  Serious. I set up business cards with Moo and I still have a bunch of them.  I set them up when I wasn’t 100% sure on where I was heading and this has left them with a different look than I desire now.  I do drop at restaurants and things like that still though.

Moo and Smug Mug Join Forces for Photography Business Cards

I was thinking about creating business cards for Embryo, the business that is the hub I’m creating for everything I do and believe in, but I started to remember that I need to redo and update my photography business cards!  Just that thought made me think there must be other people just like me.  This post is to put the bug in  your ear and provide a little inspiration as you go about getting your photography business cards going.

While I had this thought of creating, I received an e-mail newsletter from Moo – an amazingly creative company that is involved in business cards, note cards, postcards, and stickers ect.  Marika and I are going to be putting out Wedding Invitations through Moo very very soon! If you’re unfamiliar, I did write about Moo in a photography business card series here in the past.  Check out the photography business cards from moo here.

The newsletter was quick and to the point! Moo announced that they have joined forces with photography business website: SmugMug.  If you aren’t yet a SmugMug user and wondering what it’s all about, SmugMug is a stellar photo hosting option for photographers with a range of beautiful ways to display and share photos and videos with your clients, friends and tribe. If you’re already a customer of SmugMug, you are in for a treat.  It will be so easy to create new photography business cards. I’ve seen it done through Flickr, but integration with smug is pretty smart.

I hear that if you don’t have a SmugMug account, you can use Moo‘s Discount Code: SMUGMoo.  Use the code when signing up and you’ll save 20% before July 21st 2010.  Saving money is cool and hip! As hip and cool as it would be, you could take that 20% savings and slap it towards some new Moo photography business cards!  Your biz would be set up nicely for marketing your photography business offline and online.

Check out Moo Cards or Check out SmugMug (don’t tell them that it was me that told you the secret discount code – but still use it)
