The Aeolian Hall sits at Florence and Dundas in London, Ontario. On the first photowalk in London, back in April 2009, I never got any shots of the piece of historic architecture. With that said, I needed to spend some quality time with her on the April 2010 photowalk that just passed.
If you’d like to know some history on this building, the Aeolian Hall Website goes into much more detail! I’ve included a quick quote off the page about the architect and architectural style.
It was designed by the famous architect George F. Durand and is a combination of High Victorian and Italianate design. It is a masterpiece of tall traceried windows and biochromatic brickwork.
This shot of the Aeolian Hall is up for sale in the London Collection and I’ve limited it to only 5 Canvas Prints. I’ve also set up a 1920×1200 free wallpaper for your desktop if you’re interested. If you would like to use this HDR photograph, it is for usage under creative commons licensing – check out flickr for more information on using this image. If used, I’d love for you to attribute the work to me and link back to nuwomb.
